Erfurt is known as a green city in the heart of Germany. This beautiful city has a population of almost two-hundred-thousand. A medieval city, with many historical houses and churches.
There are many beautiful bridges, but one, the Kramerbruecke ( Merchant's Bridge 1325 ), is perhaps the most interesting one.This bridge is the longest in Europe which is covered completely on both sides by 32 houses.

Erfurt, has had many well-known residents and visitors, such as Martin Luther who lived here as a monk from 1505-1511.

It was here that the Russian Tsar Alexander met Napoleon 1. A visit to this lovely city will be a wonderful experience.
